Information
Born in Jerusalem 1917, finished his primary and secondary education in his home country 1935; worked at The Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) (1936-1945). In 1945, he moved to the United States and joined the George Williams University where he received his BA in Sociology and Psychology in 1948; MA in Psychology from Columbia University 1949. He then returned to the American University of Beirut (AUB) and he was appointed as a Psychology lecturer. In 1953, he moved to America where he received his PhD from Colombia University in 1955; appointed as a visiting professor at Princeton University 1960.
