Information
Zaki Nusseibeh is a Palestinian journalist, broadcaster, and translator from the city of Jerusalem. He holds a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. He worked as a journalist and broadcaster before becoming Director of Media in Abu Dhabi.
He currently serves as an advisor at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Vice Chairman of the Board of the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage, and a member of the Board of Trustees of Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi.
Since 1968, he has worked as a translator and personal advisor to the late President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
Zaki Nusseibeh was awarded the Interreligious Tolerance Award on behalf of Islam by the European Academy of Sciences and Arts in Germany. He was also honored by the European Cultural Foundation with the Arab–European Culture Award in 2013.
