The Israeli embassy in Amman attacks him

The Zionist embassy in Amman attacked him for publishing an article praising the Palestinian resistance operations that took place in June 2015 against settlers in Jerusalem and the occupied Palestinian territories.

Yasser Al-Za’atrah published an article in the Jordanian Al-Dustour newspaper under the title (Heroisms in the West Bank and Jerusalem must be built upon), in which he stated, “A heroic stabbing attack in Jerusalem last Sunday, and before that another heroic shooting attack near Ramallah, which was claimed by the Al-Qassam Brigades, which resulted in the killing of a settler.” And others were wounded.” In his article, he refers to the incident that took place in occupied Jerusalem on Sunday, 21-6-2015, when a Palestinian youth was shot by a policeman in the Zionist border guards, after he stabbed a policeman with a knife near the Old City in occupied Jerusalem, according to what was announced at the time by the occupation forces. In his article, he encouraged such operations by saying, "This is the best path, whether it is carried out by people belonging to the factions, or by independent young men who are jealous of their religion and homeland," noting that this is "a culture that must be strengthened in the literature of all factions."

The Zionist embassy said in a statement issued on Wednesday evening, 24-6-2015, which came under the title “Incitement to kill Israelis in a Jordanian newspaper.” Which is considered an incitement to murder, and to violence in its full sense. The embassy added that it “expects that the publication of barbaric articles of this kind, which would lead to harm and prejudice to citizens, and increase tension between the Israeli and Palestinian peoples, would be stopped.”

The Jordanian Journalists Syndicate rejected what the Zionist embassy was exposed to through its statement, against Al-Dustour newspaper and the Za'atara article, and stated in a statement that the embassy's statement is provocative and unacceptable, as it exposes the falsity of all Zionist attempts that say that it is a country that respects freedom of expression, opinion and other opinion. The Syndicate considered that "this is considered a blatant interference with the freedom of the press and the media, and a flagrant provocation of all the feelings of Jordanian and Arab journalists in general."
