Zakaria Abdel Rahim, nicknamed Abu Yahya, is a Palestinian military and diplomat and a member of the Fatah movement since 1963, its Revolutionary Council, and the Palestinian National Council. He was a commander in the Fatah military monitoring apparatus and assigned security missions to protect the movement from intrusions. In 1975, he participated in the establishment of the representative office of the Palestine Liberation Organization in Cyprus. He served as the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to China between 2002 and 2005.
