Prof. Khalid Amin Abdulla obtained his BBA, accounting, American University of Beirut, 1961, MBA, accounting, Texas Technical University, 1966, and his Ph.D, accounting, University of Georgia, U.S.A., 1972. He was appointed as assistant professor and professor University of Jordan, 1972-1985, then assistant general manager, Jordan National Bank, 1985-1995, Minister of Planning, 1990-1991, president, Al-Isra’ University, 1991-1993, professor, Petra University, 1993-1996, and is currently chairman, Banking and Islamic Banking Departments, Arab Academy for Banking and Financial Sciences. He supervised more than 50 Ph.D dissertations, member of editorial boards of several periodicals, member of board of trustees of several universities, lecturer and professional trainer. He also wrote many books, published many articles and attended various conferences, seminars in addition to the delivery of consultancy services.
