Amin al-Hindi, Abu Fawzi (1940 - 2010), is a Palestinian politician and military.

Al-Hindi was born in Gaza in 1940 and worked in the Fatah movement since its founding within its security apparatus. He was known for his strong relationship with Salah Khalaf (Abu Yad), founder of the Unified Security Service. He was one of the first student cells of Fatah in Germany and was directly related to the famous Munich operation in which 11 Israeli athletes were killed within The 1972 Olympic Games, which were carried out by the Black September organization. Al-Hindi was appointed head of the Palestinian Intelligence Service since the establishment of the Palestinian Authority in 1994 and holds the rank of major general, and he is the first director of intelligence in the Palestinian National Authority. As an assistant to Salah Khalaf (Abu Iyad), and after the martyrdom of Abu Iyad, he assumed responsibility for the unified security until the entry of the National Authority into the homeland.
