Ahmed Youssef, political advisor to the dismissed Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh.
He studied mechanical engineering and graduated from Egyptian universities. He worked for a short period in the Gulf, completing his postgraduate studies in the field of engineering in the United States of America. He lived a large part of his life in the United States of America, participating as an activist in Islamic institutions operating in the United States of America. He returned to Gaza shortly after the Israeli army evacuated the settlements there. Once Hamas won the Palestinian legislative elections in 2006 and appointed Ismail Haniyeh to form the tenth Palestinian government, he was appointed political advisor to the prime minister.
