Khaled Nayef Ghazal Soufan is a Palestinian diplomat , politician and former member of the Fatah movement . He served as the Palestinian ambassador to Hungary until 2005, and also served as the Palestinian ambassador to Poland in 2006, and continued until 2011 after he caused controversy by holding a farewell party for the Israeli ambassador to Poland after the end of his duties. In October 2013, the Secretary of the Central Committee of the Fatah movement decided to expel Khaled Ghazal from the Fatah movement .
On October 5, 2005, the President of the Republic of Hungary, Soliman László, awarded him the Order of Merit on the occasion of the end of his term of office.
