Fariz Nafi Attia Mahdawi ( October 19, 1951 ) is a Palestinian diplomat and politician, born in the Palestinian city of Tulkarm .  He is the Palestinian ambassador to a number of countries around the world.

His life and education

Fariz Nafi Attia Mahdawi was born in the Palestinian city of Tulkarm on October 19 , 1951 ,  and received his primary and secondary education in the city's schools.  He obtained a bachelor's degree from Beirut University in Lebanon in 1973 , and a master's degree in physical chemistry from Sindh University in Pakistan in 1980.

He held several positions, the most prominent of which are: 

Member of the General Union of Palestinian Students (1978-1983).
Vice President of the General Union of Palestinian Students (1984-1990).
Member of the Palestinian National Council (1984-1990).
Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Tanzania (1990-2005). 
Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Seychelles (1990-2005).
Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Comoros (1990-2005).
Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Mauritius (1990-2005).
Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Indonesia (2006-2016). 
Ambassador of the State of Palestine to China (2016-present).
