Sayed Khalil Jaber al-Masri (Abu Hani; born July 25, 1947 in Khan Yunis - died July 11 , 2017 in Khan Yunis ), Palestinian diplomat and politician . 

 

His upbringing and educational attainment

Sayed Khalil Jabr Al-Masry was born on July 25, 1947 in the city of Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip . He received his education in the city’s schools, then joined Beirut Arab University.

 

His positions 

Public Relations Officer at the Palestine Liberation Organization Office in Yemen in 1976.
Deputy Ambassador of Palestine to Vietnam , ( 1979 - 1984 ). 
Ambassador of Palestine to Vietnam , ( 1984 - 2005 ).
Ambassador of Palestine to Sudan , ( 2006 - 2011 ). 

 

Medals

On November 28, 2011 , Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir awarded the Nilein Medal, First Class, to Ambassador Sayed Khalil al-Masry. 

 

His death 

Sayed Khalil Al-Masry died on July 11, 2017 in the city of Khan Yunis , and the President of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, mourned Ambassador Sayed Khalil after a long struggle for Palestine.
