Abdullah Al-Afranji (November 15, 1943 [1] [2] in Beersheba [3] - ) is a Palestinian diplomat and politician . He was the representative of the Palestine Liberation Organization in West Germany between 1974 and 1990, and the ambassador of the Palestinian Authority to the Federal Republic of Germany between 1993 and 2005, and governor For the Gaza Governorate with the rank of Minister between 2014 and 2017.
Working life [ edit ]
In May–June 2007, he was appointed President of the Palestine Future Foundation. [4] On April 26, 2010, Al-Efrangi was appointed advisor to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas for international affairs, with the rank of minister. [5]
On July 7, 2014, Al-Efrangi was appointed governor of Gaza Governorate . [6] In November 2016, the Central Committee of the Fatah movement elected Al-Efrangi as president of the movement’s seventh conference. [7] On December 10, 2017, Al-Efrangi was transferred to work as a political advisor to the President of the State of Palestine , Mahmoud Abbas .
