Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin
Abdulaziz Al Saud, former deputy foreign minister of the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia, is the fifth son of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. His mother is
Princess Aida Fustuk, of Palestinian origin. He serves as Chairman of the Board
of Trustees of the Centennial Fund.
His upbringing and education
Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah was
born in the city of Riyadh on 28 Jumada al-Awwal 1382 corresponding to October
27, 1962, and he received his education there. He holds a bachelor’s degree in
political and economic sciences from Hartfordshire University, which is one of
the famous British universities. He also obtained advanced and specialized
courses in Economics. He was included in government work in the National Guard,
during which he held many positions and responsibilities for a period of 15
years, until a generous royal order was issued appointing him as an advisor in
the Diwan of His Highness the Crown Prince in 1991 AD.
The Custodian of the Two Holy
Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, issued a generous royal decree on
Shaaban 21, 1432 AH, corresponding to July 22, 2011, appointing His Royal
Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz as Deputy Minister of
Foreign Affairs, with the rank of Minister.
