Information
Zuayter was born in Nablus, Palestine, she lived part of her childhood and her youth in Amman, Jordan, and completed postgraduate studies in agricultural science from the American University of Beirut, graduating in 1980.
She is an activist in the field of environmental protection. In 2003, she established the Arab Group for the Protection of nature which aims to replant the uprooted trees in Palestine due to the Israeli's settlement activities, as well as projects to increase the green areas in Jordan.
Zuayter and her husband Hasan Jaaja, a Lebanese agriculture engineer, launched (Al Sanabel Engineering and Landscaping) in 1984.
