Tariq Hosni Salem Za'rab (Abu al-Majd; April 16, 1962 - ) is a Palestinian civil engineer who has held the position of Minister of Transport and Communications in the government of Muhammad Mustafa since March 2024. 

His life 

Tarek Zaarab was born in 1962 in Rafah during the Egyptian administration of the Gaza Strip .

His father is a member of the Fatah movement and a member of the Palestinian National Council . He also served as governor of Khan Yunis Governorate between 2001 and 2005. 

He worked as General Manager of the Gaza Industrial Zone, and General Manager of PADICO Company in the Gaza Strip. 

On August 4, 2018, he was appointed a member of the Board of Trustees of Al-Azhar University in Gaza .  He was later elected Treasurer and Chairman of the Finance Committee within the Board. 

He ran on the Fatah movement list to run in the 2021 Palestinian legislative elections, which were later cancelled. 

On March 28, 2024, President Mahmoud Abbas approved the ministerial formation of the nineteenth Palestinian government headed by Muhammad Mustafa and gave it confidence.  On March 31, 2024, Za’arub took the legal oath as Minister of Transport and Communications at the Palestinian presidential headquarters in the city of Al-Bireh .
