Ibrahim Musa Ibrahim Abu al-Naja (born on January 10, 1941 in Beersheba ) is a Palestinian politician . He served as Minister of Agriculture in the second government of Ahmed Qurei , and was the secretary of the Supreme Leadership Committee of the Fatah movement in the Gaza Strip and a temporary spokesman for it. He was governor for Gaza Governorate between 2017 and 2023.
Working life
On June 1, 2004, he was sworn in as Minister of Agriculture in the second government of Ahmed Qurei, succeeding Rouhi Fattouh .
On June 11, 2005, he was appointed Chairman of the Anti-Graft Authority.
On March 24, 2007, he was appointed Chairman of the Supreme National Committee for National Accord.
On December 31, 2017, he was appointed Governor of Gaza Governorate. On August 10, 2023, he was retired.
Achievements and Awards
Medals
On August 17, 2023, President Mahmoud Abbas awarded him the Star of Merit of the State of Palestine Medal .
