Walid Ismail Abdel Fattah Al-Aridi, also known as Walid Hassan (born July 15, 1960 in Husan ) , is a Palestinian diplomat . Since submitting his credentials on September 5, 2017 , he has held the position of Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Zambia . [1] He has been the Representative of the State of Palestine to the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa since April 26, 2018. [2] He previously served as the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Kazakhstan in 2006, [3] and the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Cyprus in 2010.
