Hani Talab Al-Qawasmi (1958-), a Palestinian politician and law professor, served as Minister of the Interior in the eleventh Palestinian government.

His upbringing and educational attainment
Hani Talab Al-Qawasmi is originally from the city of Hebron. His father moved to Gaza in 1949 to live there, and he was born there in 1958. He received his school education at various levels in Gaza. Al-Qawasmi obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Cairo University, and continued his studies and also obtained a Higher Diploma in Human Resources.

Positions
After graduating, he worked for ten years at the Al-Azhar Religious Institute, then moved to the General Authority for Civil Affairs and worked there for seven years. He served as Minister of Interior in the eleventh Palestinian government.
