Muhammad Salem Arafat Al-Qudwa (Abu Majdi; born August 6 , 1946 in Jaffa - died December 16, 2021 in Cairo ) was a Palestinian politician and minister . [3] He was the first governor of the Gaza Governorate , where he held the position between 1996 and 2014. [4] He was also president of the Chamber of Commerce in the Gaza Strip .
