Musa Mahmoud Hamed Al-Za’bout (born
on April 11, 1949 in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, Gaza) is a Palestinian physician
and parliamentarian. He was a member of the first Palestinian Legislative
Council between 1996 and 2006, after he ran in the Palestinian general
elections in 1996 as an independent in the Gaza Governorate constituency and
obtained 23,563 votes. .

Musa Al-Za'bout was born in Gaza
City in 1949. He graduated from Jaffa Secondary School in Gaza in 1969.
He obtained a Bachelor's degree in
Medicine from Alexandria University in 1976, a Master's degree in Pediatrics
from Alexandria University in 1980, and obtained the Palestinian Board of
Pediatrics in 2006.
He worked between 1981 and 1985 in
Al-Nasr Governmental Hospital for Children, and in 1985 he participated in the
establishment of the Faculty of Nursing at the Islamic University in Gaza and
worked there as a lecturer until 1996, when he ran in the first Palestinian
legislative elections and won a seat for the Gaza governorate after he ran as
an independent and got 23,563 votes.
After the second legislative
elections in 2006, he returned to work at the Islamic University in Gaza.
