Hala Farhan Muhammad Abu Hasira (born on October 26, 1976 in Al-Remal neighborhood, Gaza) is a Palestinian diplomat. She has been the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to France since 2021.
Educational attainment
Abu Hasira studied English language and literature at Al-Azhar University in Gaza between 1994 and 1998 and obtained a bachelor's degree. She also obtained a master's degree in diplomacy from the University of Malta between 2002 and 2003.
practical life
In 2018, she was appointed as the alternate ambassador of the State of Palestine in Belgium to the European Union, and in March 2020 she was appointed as General Commissioner to Canada. On May 23, 2020, she presented her credentials to the Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs.
On November 4, 2021, she presented her credentials to French President Emmanuel Macron as Ambassador of the State of Palestine.
