Omar Hosni Abu Zaida: A Palestinian student from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at An-Najah National University, was recently elected as the regional coordinator for the projects and activities of the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFMSA) in the Middle East for the year 2011/2012. This victory for student Abu Zaida comes after his active participation with the Palestinian delegation participating in the 60th World Assembly of Medical Students in Denmark at the beginning of last August, during which he was elected as a member of the international committee supervising the conduct of the sessions for amending the laws and the international elections of the Federation.
