Hani Jahshan: A Palestinian doctor residing in Bahrain. He serves as a Senior Consultant Forensic Physician with the Royal Medical Services and the Bahrain Defence Force. He previously worked as a consultant in forensic medicine, pathology, and forensic science at the Ministry of Health in Jordan.
His professional activities include teaching forensic medicine and family violence to a wide range of students, including undergraduate and postgraduate students in medicine, law, police studies, and social sciences. He received the “President’s Award of the American National Association of Medical Examiners (2008)” in recognition of his contributions to maternal and child safety and the prevention of child abuse and domestic violence.
Dr. Jahshan is a member of the forensic medicine expert team of the International Criminal Court (ICC) and a consultant to UNICEF on the prevention of violence against children.
