Asaad Arandi is an academic who works as a lecturer at An-Najah National University, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Architecture in 1995. He then obtained his Master's degree in Architectural Design by Computer from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, United Kingdom, in 2004. Since September 2004, he has been a full-time lecturer in the Department of Architecture at the university. Prior to that, he worked as a full-time research and teaching assistant in the same department from September 1996 to September 2004. He also participated in a documentation project of the Old City of Nablus with the Center for Popular Architecture (Riwaq) in the summer of 1995. Asaad's interests include architectural design, architectural construction, and the study of traditional architecture using multimedia.
