Suha Al-Qishawi or Suha Al-Qishawi is a Palestinian systems engineer , born and studied in Gaza , then completed her studies in the United States of America . She started working at NASA and became a senior engineer there. Arabian Business magazine chose her among the list of the 100 most powerful Arab women under the age of forty.
About it
Suha was born in Gaza City , Palestine, to a family of two parents and seven brothers and sisters. She completed high school at Bashir Al-Rayes School in Gaza with honors, and then moved to America to complete her engineering studies at the University of Houston in the United States. She graduated from the College of Engineering with honors, and received an offer to work at NASA . After several years of working at NASA, the agency selected her and a group of engineers to work on the Artemis 1 project to launch a space shuttle between 2011 and 2020. Al-Qishawi has been working at Lockheed Martin since 2021.
Awards
Emirati magazine Arabian Business has selected Suha Al-Qishawi as one of the 100 most influential women under the age of 40.
