Information
Farid Ahmed Ghannam has been Director General of the General Budget Department at the Ministry of Finance since 2002, and Chairman of the European-Palestinian Subcommittee on Economics and Financial Issues since 2012.
Previously, Mr. Ghannam worked as a lecturer at Birzeit University for the courses Financial Analysis of the Public Treasury, Financial Management, and Management Review and Auditing ( 1996-2002), and Head of Accounting in the Main Budget Department of the Ministry of Finance (1996-2002), and was a senior accountant at USAID - Louis Berger - Gaza (1995-1996), and a senior accountant at Daewoo Company - Libya (1985-1991) .
Accountant at Artra Import and Export Company - Egypt (1984-1985), and accountant at Madhour Company in Egypt (1983-1984).
Mr. Ghanem is studying for his PhD in Finance and Accounting from Cairo University, Egypt. He obtained a master's degree in finance and accounting from the Islamic University of Gaza. And a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Alexandria University - Egypt.
