Necessity is the mother of invention, and it prompted a young Palestinian artist in the Gaza Strip to discover a new way to use fruits and spices... in drawing and coloring. By using spices such as cumin and cinnamon, Walaa Ahmed Abu Al-Eish replaces the high-priced materials she needs to create her artistic works with more abundant and cheaper materials.
