Muhyi al-Din Pasha al-Husseini was born in 1863 in Gaza City. He is the son of Sayyid Hussein Effendi al-Husseini, the mayor of Gaza and its chief of supervision in the mid-nineteenth century.
Muhyiddin took over the Noble Syndicate in the year 1329 AH and remained in it until his death, and it was abolished after him, when the Noble Noble Syndicate in Palestine no longer meant much, while it continued to be respected in Syrian cities such as Damascus, Hama and Aleppo, and it had its value, and the nobility rallied around its captain and inherited it from generation to generation.
