Information
The jurist and judge Ragheb Noman Al-Khalidi was born in 1858 in Jerusalem, and studied in the city.
During the Ottoman era, he was appointed a member of the Council of Knowledge and a member of the Court of First Instance. In 1900, he established the Khalidiya Library in Jerusalem with his family and donated a portion of his money to it. It is one of the richest libraries in Palestine with manuscripts and publications.
He died in 1951.
