Engineer Zuhair Hijjawi is a member of the Board of Directors of the Arab American University Company and was one of the first founders of the university.
He is the owner and president of the United Agriculture Group Company in the Emirates, which represents a group of companies specialized in agriculture in the United Arab Emirates and Oman. He is also the CEO of the Zuhair Hijjawi Company team.
Engineer Hijjawi heads a group of multiple investments, real estate and computer systems companies in the UAE and Jordan.
He holds a degree in agricultural sciences from Damascus University in 1973.
