Information
The administration of the Pars Berg Primary School in the German city of Munich agreed to promote the Palestinian-Syrian student from the Yarmouk camp, Tariq Muhammad Abdel Muti (5 years old), directly to the first grade of primary school and to exempt him from entering the third grade of kindergarten, after he was given an intelligence test and an information test to enter the first grade. .
Signs of intelligence and distinction began to appear in Tariq, when he was four years old, when he was babysitting his sister while she was in the first grade, helping her do some exercises, and speaking to her in terms that everyone who has studied the German language knows is difficult to pronounce for an Arab child who is newly learning the language. He was also distinguished by his mastery of reading compound letters from books, which prompted his parents to talk to the kindergarten administration, which initially rejected the parents’ request despite acknowledging Tariq’s excellence and considered it something that violated academic laws. However, with the parents’ insistence, the kindergarten administration decided to ask the competent authorities, and a test was actually conducted for him. They agreed to let him enter the first grade directly.
The educational expert says: “We were surprised by him when he talked to his friends in kindergarten as if he had a father and a mother who were born in Germany.” The school principal described him by saying: “The size is small, but the effect is big.” She said: “He is smart and very confident of himself. From the first meeting he greeted her seriously and asked her about the test without hesitation or fear.”
