Anis Fawzi Qasim Nazzal (born in 1939 in Qalqilya ) is an expert in international law, and founder of the Independent Palestinian Authority for Citizen’s Rights.
His biography [ edit ]
He finished school there. He continued his university studies and obtained a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Damascus , then a master’s degree in comparative law from the University of Miami in the United States of America in 1968 AD, a second master’s degree from George Washington University in 1970 AD, then a doctorate degree from the same university in international law in 1973 AD. . Dr. Anis became a professional in international law , and was chosen as an advisor to the Palestinian delegation at the Madrid Conference in 1991 and the Washington negotiations, but he resigned before signing the Oslo Accords in protest.
Dr. Anis was a member of the Palestinian defense team before the International Court of Justice in the apartheid wall case . He also founded the Independent Palestinian Commission for Citizen Rights.
Dr. Anis chairs the Board of Directors of the Legal Aid Fund for the Defense of Palestinian Prisoners, and is editor and consultant: The Palestinian Yearbook of International Law.
