Samer Arandi holds a PhD. in Computer Engineering. He specialises in High-performance and Parallel and Distributed Architectures. He joined the teaching staff of the Computer Engineering Department in 2011. He was the Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Engineering & IT for 3 years (2016-2019). In 2021 he assumed the role of the faculty Dean.
