The
Palestinian pilot, Amjad Hussein (46 years), from the town of Turmusaya, north
of Ramallah, has reached the highest degree in piloting the huge passenger
planes, "Jumbo Jet", manufactured by the American company,
"Boeing".
Hussein
graduated from Louis University in Illinois in flying Boeing (757, 737 and 767)
long-haul aircraft, which carry a large number of passengers, up to 400
passengers.
Pilot Hussein
said: I feel proud as a Palestinian in reaching this scientific degree that
requires great effort and deep experience.
He added that
he has ten thousand flight hours with one of the largest airlines in the world
(United Airlines), headquartered in Chicago. He indicated that he kept his
Arabic name, which he used to address the passengers, despite the company's
management's proposal to change the names of the pilots to pseudonyms for those
who wish.
