Rasheed was born in Haifa 1889, a Palestinian revolutionary; worked at the Hejaz Railway in Haifa; one of the co-founders of Al-Istiqlal Party; director of the Arab Bank in Haifa; member of the General Syrian Congress, wrote articles and were published in the Palestinian magazines in the 1930's. 

Rasheed died in Amman in 1952; buried in Damascus.
