Born in Baghdad in 1933, educated there, then he joined the American University of Beirut (AUB) in 1951, where he met Dr.George Habash; stayed at the university until 1954 then he was deprived from continuing his studies, so that, he moved to the United States; obtained his BA in political science in 1966; PhD from Adams State College of Colorado. In 1969 he was appointed as a lecturer at the University of Calgary, Canada, stayed there until 1972; went back to Palestine to contribute with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, was placed on Israel's "wanted" list, was killed by the Israeli Mossad in 6 April 1973, in Paris.
