Raafat has over 15 years of experience in senior management positions in investment departments of a number of prestigious Palestinian and regional companies including PALTEL Group, PADICO, AMAAR Real Estate Group, MID Global Investment Group and Palestine Exchange, and has extensive experience in business planning, feasibility studies, corporate valuation, financial modeling and strategic corporate finance.
Dr. Raafat holds an MBA from the Free University of Brussels (VUB) in Belgium and a Master’s degree in Finance from Ghent University in Belgium. He is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) from the USA, a Certified Digital Finance Professional (CEDF) from the Frankfurt School of Management, and a Certified Islamic Finance Trainer from Kuwait University.
Dr. Raafat holds a PhD in Financial Engineering from Wuhan University of Technology, China. Dr. Raafat has a number of research papers published in scientific journals. Dr. Jallad’s research interests include Islamic banking and finance, corporate finance, financial engineering, and financial management.
