Ghassan Ahmed Salem Abu Hatab is the project coordinator at the Center for Development Studies at Birzeit University in the Gaza Strip. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from An-Najah National University, which he obtained in 2009.
Abu Hatab's main responsibility is coordinating the Center's projects in the Gaza Strip, with a significant focus on issuing human development reports. Some of his notable publications include:
"The Impact of Israeli Practices on the Fishing Sector in the Gaza Strip," published by the Center for Development Studies in 2012.
"The Tunnel Phenomenon in the Gaza Strip: The Destroyed Economy, Catholic Marriage," a study published by the Center for Development Studies, Birzeit University, in 2014.
"The extent of public satisfaction with the services provided by the Palestinian judiciary," published by the Hadaf Center for Human Rights in 2015.
"Social Security between Philosophical Justifications and Reality Movements," an article published in the Palestinian Politics Magazine, Issue 46, in February 2019.
