Principles of Statistics: This course deals with statistics in the psychological, educational, social, and security fields. It includes the nature of statistics and areas of its use, samples, data tabulation, frequency distributions, measures of central tendency, measures of dispersion, correlation, regression line equation, probability, normal distribution, and testing of statistical hypotheses.
Educational Psychology: This course deals with the definition of educational psychology, its relationship with general psychology, educational goals in terms of their levels, and how to apply the concepts of the behavioral school in the learning process that facilitates the learning process, motivation and transfer of the learning effect, the appropriate classroom atmosphere for the learning process to occur, and the slow and disabled child’s learning. Criminal Psychology: This course deals with crime, its causes and motivations, and the sciences branching out from criminology, sciences related to criminal psychology, forensic biology, criminal sociology, forensic psychology, innate imbalances, instincts, important instincts and their imbalances, deviation of emotions, deviant emotions and prevention of their deviations, The psychological system, psychological and mental illnesses and the difference between them, stages of personality development and their patterns, the impact of psychological problems and illnesses on responsibility for the criminal crime. Introduction to Security Science: This course is an introductory, foundational introduction to the principles of security science and constitutes a fulcrum from which students can proceed to more detailed courses.
