Harbeed (23 years), a university student studying renewable energy engineering
at Al-Azhar University in the Gaza Strip. She believed in her capabilities and
succeeded in inventing the first device of its kind in Palestine. It is manufactured
locally. It is an energy-saving dryer that works to dry agricultural products
in the shortest time and with high quality. and competitive prices.”
The
"Solar Food" device works on integrating two energy sources, the
first device is a solar collector and the second device is a heat pump to raise
efficiency and reduce energy consumption in light of what Gaza has been
suffering for many years from a severe electricity crisis and the conditions of
the besieged Gaza.
