Ahmad Abu Al-Ata (May 7, 1990 – June 21, 2024) was a Palestinian professional footballer who played as a left-back. Born in Gaza City, Abu Al-Ata had a long and respected career across several clubs in the Palestinian football scene.
Throughout his career, he represented teams such as Ittihad Al-Shuja’iyya, Ahli Gaza Club, Al-Tuffah, Gaza SC, Zeitoun Club, and Al-Sadaqa. Known for his defensive discipline, overlapping runs, and work ethic on the flank, he was a consistent presence on the left side of the pitch.
Ahmad Abu Al-Ata will be remembered not only for his contributions on the field but also for his dedication and sportsmanship. His passing at the age of 34 marked a great loss to Palestinian football and to all who knew him.
