Laila Masri (born June 26, 1999) is a Palestinian -American runner and a member of the Palestinian Athletics Federation . She comes from a Palestinian family from Nablus who immigrated to the United States .
Competitions
She competed in the 2023 Arab Athletics Championships held in Morocco , and won the silver medal after winning second place in the 5000-meter race category.
She also participated in the 2023 Asian Athletics Championships held in Thailand and finished eighth in the 1500m race.
She competed at the 2024 World Cross Country Championships held in Serbia, achieving a personal best of 36.53 seconds.
It is supposed to represent the State of Palestine in the Paris 2024 Olympics.
