Information
Wissam Jadallah (1980-2023) is a Palestinian athlete , born in Jabalia camp north of Gaza City . He obtained a PhD from the Faculty of Physical Education in Egypt , and holds the highest degree in volleyball in Palestine, and is an academic at the Faculty of Physical Education at Al-Aqsa University . He joined the volleyball team at Al-Sadaka Club , and achieved many Arab championships, including the league, cup and super cup. He retired from playing to train several teams, most notably Al-Sadaka, Shabab, Jabalia Services and Al-Shuja'iyya Union. He then became a coach in the Palestinian national volleyball team.
His death
He was killed on December 12, 2023, when the Israeli Air Force bombed his home in Jabalia camp in the Gaza Strip, as part of the Israeli response to Operation Flood of Al-Aqsa .
