Hussam Wadi, born on August 25, 1986, in Gaza, Palestine, is a retired defensive midfielder who had a solid career both domestically and internationally. Standing at 1.78 meters, he played primarily as a defensive midfielder, but also had experience in right midfield and centre-back positions. He earned 23 caps for the Palestine national team, scoring 2 goals in his international career.

Wadi's last club was Ittihad Al-Sh., where he retired on June 24, 2022. Prior to that, he played for several teams, including Markaz Balata, Sh. Al-Khaleel, and Al-Am'ari. His career saw him involved in various transfers, often moving for a fee of around €75k. He began his career at J. Al-Mokabber before moving on to other clubs across the Palestinian football landscape.
