Amani Aljuneidi is a short story writer and novelist, and holds a B.A. degree in Arabic Language and Literature from the University of Jordan and a diploma in education. She worked as a teacher of Arabic language in the Ministry of Education in Palestine, a director of a school and is currently working in the Department of Literature at the Ministry of Culture. She also is an editor of the cultural page in the Democracy Journal published in Ramallah. Some of her works include A Woman with a Taste of Strawberry (Ugarit, 2005) and An Intelligent Man and Dim Women (Dar Shurouq, 2007).
