Atallah Muhammad Abu Ziyad Al-Eizari (January 5, 1942 - November 26, 2019) was a Palestinian poet. He was born in the village of Al-Azariya near Jerusalem. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Arabic language from Beirut Arab University in 1971. He worked as a teacher and educator and moved between Jordan, Morocco and the Sultanate of Oman. He is one of the founders of the Jordanian Writers Union in 1987. He died in Zarqa, and was buried in the Hashemite Cemetery there.

Ata Allah Muhammad Yusuf Abu Ziyad Al-Eizari was born on January 5, 1942 / Dhu Al-Hijjah 18, 1360 in the village of Al-Eizariya in Jerusalem and grew up there. He studied in Jerusalem and finished high school at Rashidiya School in 1959, then obtained a BA in Arabic language and literature from Beirut Arab University in 1971. He worked as a teacher of Arabic in Jordan and was visited by Arab countries from 1963 to 1997, and also worked in the field of education and library science. He was assigned to work for a period in Morocco from 1975 to 1978 in the city of Guelmima, and then the Sultanate of Oman from 1982 to 1987 in the capital region. After retirement, he taught in the Republic of Yemen from 1989 to 1992 at the Teachers' Institute in Taiz, and in the Libyan Jamahiriya from 1992 until 1997 at the Teachers' Institutes in the Western Mountains, Jado and Shakshuk.
He is a founding member of the Jordanian Writers Union in 1987, and the Qalam Family Cultural Club in Zarqa in 1973. He has participated in reviving many poetry evenings in Jordan and abroad. He wrote in a number of local newspapers and cultural supplements in the eighties, and in the cultural supplements of a number of Arab newspapers. He practiced journalistic writing, such as the Jordanian “Dustour,” the Omani “Oman” and the Yemeni “Republic,” where he published various articles under the title “In the Gardens of Literature,” which is a set of literary books that I have read, and another title is “I read for you,” which is about Submission of a literary book, poetry or prose.
Atallah Abu Ziyad died on November 26, 2019 / Rabi’ al-Awwal 29, 1441 in Zarqa, and was buried in the Hashemite Cemetery there.
