Muhammad Nabil al-Kurd (born May 15, 1998) is a Palestinian writer and poet from the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of East Jerusalem, who was attending his MA in the United States before returning to Sheikh Jarrah to protest the forced evictions of its residents, including his family. He gained prominence for his talk about the Israeli occupation; He often refers to evictions as a form of ethnic cleansing, and the occupation as a whole as complicit in apartheid and settler colonialism. Beginning in September 2021, Al-Kurd has been working as a reporter for The Nation magazine, covering Palestinian affairs.

In 2021, Muhammad al-Kurd and his sister, Mona al-Kurd, were named to Time magazine's annual "100 Most Influential People in the World" list; For their success in portraying the reality of life under occupation in Jerusalem, which contributed to a change in the discourse on the Palestinian issue at the international level.

Muhammad al-Kurd was born in the Palestinian neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah in East Jerusalem. Part of his family home in Sheikh Jarrah was taken over by Israeli settlers in 2009 and he was 11 years old at the time. The Kurds were the main subject of the 2013 documentary film My Neighborhood directed by Julia Pasha, and "Rebecca Wingert Gabi".

Sheikh Jarrah campaign
Al-Kurd documents and talks about forcing Palestinians to leave their homes in Sheikh Jarrah, where Muhammad and his twin sister, Mona, started an awareness campaign about forced evictions in Sheikh Jarrah through social media channels.

The Israeli police arrested Muna and Muhammad on June 6, 2021, and later released them after holding them for several hours.
