Riad Seif, whose full name at birth was Riyad Odeh Abdel Qader Jamous (January 4, 1949 in Tulkarm), is a Palestinian screenwriter, playwright and poet, holding Jordanian citizenship. 2008 International Emmy Award.
his biography
Riad Odeh Abdul Qader Jamous was born in the city of Tulkarm on January 4, 1942. He finished high school in Zarqa, Jordan in 1968, and obtained a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Jordan in 1972. He worked as an accountant in the Labor Secretariat from 1973 until 1979 in Libya, then continued his work in Jordan and then an auditor at the Arab Company for Pharmaceutical Industries in Amman from 1979 until 1995. He also worked as a director of Al-Istiqlal TV in Ramallah from 2000 until 2010. He is a member of the Jordanian Writers Association.
His writings
He wrote more than 40 television series, among which the most famous are Bitter Dust, The Wedding of the Falcon, The Invasion, and The Gate of Jerusalem.

1997: Best Presentation and Best Script award at the 5th Jordanian Theater Festival for his play Blue and Green.
1999: The Golden Prize in Arab Drama at the Tunis Festival for the series "The Wedding of the Saqr".
2008: Emmy Award for the series "The Invasion" he wrote, the first Arab work to receive this award in the history of Arab drama.
