Taysir Barakat is a Palestinian plastic artist (born in Jabalia refugee camp, Gaza Strip in 1959). He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Alexandria in 1983 (specialization - photography). He held several personal exhibitions: Deir Ghassaneh - Ramallah, 1984. Bir Zeit - Ramallah, 1985. Jerusalem, Nazareth, Kafr Yasif, 1986. His fourth exhibition was in Italy in 1987. And the fifth exhibition was held in Jerusalem in 1992. He worked as a teacher of art education in agency schools. Relief in Ramallah. He participated in several group art exhibitions in Palestine, London, Cairo, Alexandria, New York, Amman, Asilah, Italy, Tokyo, Washington and Qatar.
