Michael Iskandar Haddad (1919 - 1996) is a Palestinian-Israeli poet and journalist. He was born in the city of Nazareth. He obtained a journalism degree from Cairo in 1947, and a literary fellowship from the University of Iowa in 1984. He worked as a teacher for forty years, and also worked in journalism and sports, and obtained a football referee's license. He issued the magazine “The Society” in 1954, contributed to the establishment of the Literary Association in 1955, and headed the literary magazine “Al Sharq” from 1985 to 1990. He has several collections of poetry and is considered one of the pioneers of the modern Arab poetry movement in Palestine.

Michael Iskandar Haddad was born and raised in the city of Nazareth in 1919. He obtained a journalism degree from Cairo University in 1947, then a literary fellowship from the University of Iowa in 1984.
He worked as a teacher from 1937 until his retirement in 1978. He worked in the press. He published the magazine “The Society” in 1954, and was the editor-in-chief of the literary magazine “Al Sharq” from 1985 until 1990.
He also worked in sports, and obtained a football referee license early in his career from the Palestinian Football Association. He contributed to the establishment of the Literary Association in 1955, and participated in many poetry and music festivals.

Michel Haddad passed away in 1996 or it is reported 1999.
