Ali Nassouh Taher was born in Jaffa, 1906.
In 1912, the family moved to Egypt, his primary studies was in Cairo; joined the American University of Egypt. In 1924, he went back to Palestine; appointed as an English language teacher at al-Salahiyyah school in Nablus. When Arthur James Balfour visited Palestine, Taher organized a protest with his students, according to that he was dismissed from his work by the Mandate authorities, so he left to Cairo.
He came back to Palestine and resumed his work as a teacher in Nablus, then moved to Paris to continue his studies; obtained a PhD in Agriculture from Paris-Sorbonne University; he has also studied Political economy at the same time.
